Light That Carves All Things | Cylindrical Table Lamp (Fireworks)

This desk lamp is part of fofo lab's "Shaping with Light" series.
Light is inherently shapeless, but as it passes through the subtle gaps between wooden panels and skims over carved textures, the formless begins to take on contours. The light and shadows floating in space, like breath, nourish all things, though they cannot be touched.

Each wooden panel is precisely cut and hand-sanded and adjusted individually. The thin, natural cherry wood, when illuminated, exhibits a warm, soft translucency, making the entire lamp resemble a wooden garden gently opened by light.

The carved patterns can also be freely customized according to your ideas.
Animals, plants, insects, names, logos, or even landscapes from your personal memories can be transformed into patterns floating in the light. We hope this is not just a lighting piece, but a small spatial installation that carries emotions and stories.

Furthermore, this series of desk lamps uses a standardized base design, allowing for different lampshades to be changed according to the season, mood, or spatial style. The top of the base can also be gently rotated, making the patterns slowly change like a magic lantern, creating a quiet and continuous interaction between people and light.

• Material: Lampshade made of solid cherry wood (approx. 2mm thick), base made of laminated wood (approx. 15mm thick)
• Processing method: Precisely cut with CNC, then hand-sanded and adjusted
• Surface treatment: Plant-based transparent coating compliant with European toy safety standard EN71
• Size and composition: 10 wooden panels + base; approx. 18cm (width) × 19cm (height)
• Light source: Filament LED bulb (2700K warm white light), soft and comfortable even with prolonged use
• Power cord: Includes a 1.5m power cord with switch, ready for immediate use upon receipt. The power cord can be replaced free of charge according to the country of use.

Maintenance and Custom Adjustments
