Light That Carves All Things | Cylindrical Table Lamp (Light and Shadow in the Woods)

This table lamp is part of fofo lab's "Shaping with Light" series.
Light itself has no shape, but when it passes through the subtle gaps between wooden panels and across carved textures, the unformed begins to take on contours. The light and shadows floating in space, like breath, though intangible, genuinely influence all things.

Each wooden panel is precisely cut and hand-sanded individually. The thin natural cherry wood, illuminated by light, presents a warm and soft translucent quality, making the entire lamp resemble a wooden garden gently unfolded by light.

The carved patterns can also be freely customized according to your ideas.
Animals, plants, insects, names, logos, or even landscapes from your personal memories can be transformed into patterns floating in the light. We hope this is not just a lighting piece, but a small spatial installation that carries belief, emotion, and stories.

In addition, this series of table lamps uses a unified base design, allowing different lampshades to be changed according to the season, mood, or spatial style. The top of the base can also be gently rotated, allowing the patterns to change slowly like a magic lantern, creating a quiet and continuous interaction between people and light.

• Material: Lampshade made of solid cherry wood panels (approx. 2mm thick), base made of laminated wood (approx. 15mm thick)
• Processing Method: Precisely cut using CNC, then hand-sanded and adjusted
• Surface Treatment: Plant-based transparent coating compliant with European toy safety standard EN71
• Dimensions and Composition: 10 wooden panels + base; approx. 18cm (width) × 19cm (height)
• Light Source: Filament LED bulb (2700K warm white light), soft and comfortable even after prolonged use
• Cord: Includes a 1.5m power cord with a switch, ready for immediate use. The power cord can be freely replaced according to the country of use.

Repair and Customization Adjustments

• Free maintenance is available for damage during assembly or natural wear and tear from long-term use (with some exceptions)
